Standard Film Lab Scanning
Standard lab digitisation for 35mm & 120 rolls. This service is for full rolls or previously processed film. Files are delivered as high-quality JPEGs or TIFFs via a secure download link.
Bespoke Scanning - each scan is manually assessed and enhanced by our technicians to provide the optimum result for your requirements. Scans can be supplied in RGB or CMYK.
Production Consultations
Richard is available Mon – Fri, 10:30 – 16:30 to advise on high-resolution scanning, file preparation, and image correction. We work by appointment to ensure your project receives our full attention.

Order and Pay
Simply purchase your Scanning Service above, if you are a member and eligible for members only pricing please ensure you are logged into the website and your discount will apply automatically.
Label and Drop Off
Place film in an envelope with your Full Name & Email Address.
Drop it in our 24/7 External Box, our Office Box (Tue-Sat), or Post it to us via tracked mail.
Receive Your Work
Scans are sent via Smash email link in 2–3 working days (allow up to a week).
Collect negatives from our office for free, or select £9.00 Return Postage on your selection above.

Frequently Asked Questions
Our Noritsu HS-1800 is the industry standard for high-volume, high-quality film digitisation. This hardware is used for our standard Film Scanning service for 35mm and 120 formats.
- Format Support: 35mm (Full rolls, Half-frame) and 120 (6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7, 6x9).
- Output: 8-bit JPEG or TIFF.
- Resolution Tiers:
- Low Res: 2160px (long edge) — Ideal for social media and small reference prints.
- Medium Res: 3000px (long edge) — Suitable for A4 printing and high-quality web use.
- High Res: 5000px+ (long edge) — Recommended for large-scale printing and detailed archiving.
- 5x4 Film Scanning: We provide digitisation of 5x4 sheets using this hardware to ensure professional quality for large format users.
